A Message from Chairman Fitzgerald:

"Established in 2019, the Maryland Golf Hall of Fame was created to recognize and enshrine men and women who, as Maryland natives or residents at their time of achievement, have impacted Maryland golf and/or have made extraordinary contributions to the game through competitive and non-competitive accomplishments.

Tonight, we honor eleven legendary contributors to the game of golf in Maryland: Charlie Bassler, Deane Beman, Ralph Bogart, Bobby Brownell, Bill Clarke, B. Warren Corkran, Jane Fitzgerald, Evelyn Glick, Roland MacKenzie, Fred McLeod, and Marty West. We are proud to recognize their achievements and induct them into the Maryland Golf Hall of Fame.

Our host this evening, Manor Country Club, has a long history of golf in Maryland, and we are grateful to their members and staff for their hospitality tonight.

Our celebration has been made possible by donations from individuals who have generously contributed to support the Maryland Golf Hall of Fame, and we thank all our donors, in particular, the Maryland State Golf Association, for its financial support and assistance from its excellent staff."

On the same night, The Maryland State Golf Association celebrated its centennial. All guests received a copy of Maryland State Golf Association Celebrating 100 Years 1921-2021 written by former Executive Director Bill Smith at the end of the night.
